As if Pix didn't do enough for you already, now they're offering the "January bubbly spectacular"—a month-long champagne-tasting series featuring all kinds of fancy bubbly the likes of which you've probably never tasted before. Matt Mahurin's excellent little documentary, I Like Killing Flies, goes behind the scenes at a legendary Greenwich Village diner. From the highly choreographed rituals of the line cook to the interplay between servers and customers, this film showcases familiar aspects of restaurant life, filtered through the lens of the diner's idiosyncratic owner, Kenny Shopsin.
