* Eric Redetzke
A recent UO grad, Redetzke makes semi-horrific paintings based on headshots of glamour models and executives. The New Space Gallery & Studio, 1632 SE 10th, 963-1935, Through Nov. 30

And the Cobra Kissed the Ghost
It's definitely got the coolest name of any exhibition this month, and Keith Rosson's paintings look pretty sweet, to boot. The mixed media images combine painterly abstraction, stylized configuration, and obscure symbolism. Northview Gallery at Portland Community College, 12000 SW 49th, 977-4264, Through Dec. 4

Bollywood Dreams
While the films themselves are tediously painful to watch, the concept and look of Bollywood is undoubtedly India's biggest cultural export these days. Jonathan Torgovnik's color photos pay tribute to the industry which creates over 800 films per year. Blue Sky Photography Gallery, 1231 NW Hoyt St, 225-0210, Through November

The Continuing Thread
A group show of six contemporary artists who use fibers in ways that Granny never would have approved of. Angela Haseltine Pozzi's Finding Nemo yarnscapes should be excellent, as well as Mark Newport's Marvel Comics stitchery. Archer Gallery, Clark College, 1800 E McLoughlin, Vancouver, (360) 992-2200, Through Dec. 5

* Steve McCurry
McCurry, one of National Geographic's leading photographers is showing color photographs of Tibet that coincide with his new book, The Path to Buddha. Augen Gallery, 817 SW 2nd Ave, 224-8182, Through November 29
